Tips for your everyday life to avoid plastic waste

By 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans! Hard to believe, right?

Every year up to 13 million tons of plastic end up in the oceans.

As a result, 135,000 marine mammals and one million seabirds lose their lives.

Therefore, we want to give you a few tips for avoiding plastic waste in your everyday life:

  • Replace unnecessary disposable plastic.  Buy products that are preferably not packed in plastic or at least look at packaging made of reusable plastic and dispose it correctly.
  • Use reusable shopping bags that can be folded. They fit in every bag, look nice and you don’t advertise a special supermarket.
  • In the ice cream shop, don’t have your ice cream in a cup but in a cone.
  • Reusable bottles or soda machines are a good alternative to drinks in plastic bottles. You save yourself a lot of lugging 😉

With a few small changes in everyday life, each of us can contribute to plastic reduction!
